Brown Girls On A Mission will be volunteering at Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida to help support families facing food insecurity in our community.

About the event
During this service event, volunteers will assist with donation sorting, helping prepare and organize food items that will be distributed to individuals and families across Central Florida. This hands-on opportunity allows our community to come together in service while supporting an organization that plays a vital role in fighting hunger.

Our group has reserved 35 volunteer spots, and participants must register through the Second Harvest volunteer portal to confirm their participation.
Volunteer Requirements:
Volunteers must be age 10 or older
Please arrive 10 minutes early
Wear closed-toe and closed-heel shoes
Be prepared to stand for extended periods and lift boxes/items
Wear comfortable, appropriate clothing
No cell phones, smart watches, or ear devices are allowed in sorting areas
No outside food or drinks are permitted in sorting areas
